Heritage Spotlight: An Opportunity to Celebrate and Recognize our Faculty and Staff

October 03, 2023
Submitted By: Jessica NIcklii

At the University of Hartford, we are committed to community: A community that values integrity, respect, curiosity, creativity, responsibility, accomplishment, and excellence. In celebration of this and in recognition of our heritage months, the Provost's Office and Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement are collaborating to celebrate the identities and histories of members of our UHart community. Each month we will feature faculty and staff on the screens around campus to honor one another and learn about our unique differences. If you are interested in being celebrated during one of our heritage months, please fill out this survey and we will be in touch.

October is Hispanic Heritage Month, National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and LGBTQ+ Heritage Month, but we are also planning for the months ahead, so fill out the survey today!  A listing of heritage month celebrations is provided in the link.
